Hi! My name is Chris Howlett. This blog is designed to help you pursue the abundant life that God offers everyone. Jesus said in John 10:10, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly” (ESV). I’m convinced God created the world for flourishing human life. However, we’ve all contributed to the brokenness in the world and our own lives. Many don’t even realize a better way is possible. My hope for this blog is that you’ll discover the life God has always intended for you, the ones you love, and the world.
A little about me: I’m married to Roz and we’re the parents of three adult children. We live in Louisville, Kentucky. I’m an elder in the Global Methodist Church and serve as the Conference Connectional Officer for the MidSouth Conference. My undergraduate degree is in Chemistry, Biology, and Religious Studies at Western Kentucky University. I earned a Master of Divinity degree at Asbury Theological Seminary. I was a Beeson Fellow in the Beeson Pastor Program at Asbury Seminary and earned a Doctor of Ministry degree. My dissertation and continued research explores the intersection of Positive Psychology and Practical Theology. I enjoy reading, soccer, baseball, fly fishing, and helping people like you experience the life that Jesus Christ offers.
